Crouch Linked With QPR Move

Stoke City’s Peter Crouch is a player that is constantly being linked with a move to QPR as the coach Harry Redknapp is interested in signing the English forward. Crouch and Redknapp have already worked together on a number of occasions in the past as they played side by side some years ago when performing for Tottenham, Southampton and Portsmouth.

Even though Crouch and Redknapp maintain a healthy relationship between themselves, Crouch is not looking to move away from Stoke City anytime soon as he spoke to the media concerning certain transfer rumors and denied all of them.

Peter Crouch said: “I’ve worked with Harry four times in all and I’ve always enjoyed working with him,” said the former England striker. But I am very happy with things here. We finished ninth last season and I had a big part to play in that. I’ve been round the block enough times now to cope with speculation about me moving on. All I can say is that I am very happy where I am and very happy with where the club is going.”

Stoke City managed to sign Bojan Krkic from Barcelona during this transfer window and Peter Crouch is eager to work and play alongside the young attacker who couldn’t stand out at Camp Nou but is hoping that in his new club, things will be different for the 23 year old forward who was once considered to be one of the most promising young figures in the world but so far has failed to live up to the expectations.

Crouch joined Stoke City on August of 2011 and ever since entering the club he has been making consistent appearances having already played in over 99 league matches but only managing on scoring 24 times. He is reaching the last year of his contract and it seems highly doubtful if Mark Hughes will be extending his deal with the club for another year unless he turns into a goal-scoring machine for Stoke City in the upcoming season.
